Reduction of slot machines: the decree at the start

The MEF decree leaves no room for any "alternative and subsequent imagination": reflects the future of entertainment equipment which, as of 31 December 2017, cannot exceed 345 thousand units and those of the 265 thousand units as of April 30, 2018. Each of these subjects, in the period between the date of the entry into force of the decree and on 31 December 2017, must proceed with the reduction of at least 15% of the "personal authorities" of which he was the holder to 31 December 2016null By April 30, 2018, however, a subsequent reduction will have to proceed to the achievement of an overall percentage to the extent of 34.9% (at least) of the number of clearances which was always the holder on 31 December 2016.

In the decree there is also mention that, without prejudice to the obligation for each dealer of the minimum reduction contemplated, if a number of overall clearances less than 265 thousand units will be found from 1 May 2018, network dealers will be able to submit an application for release of further clearance, until the global achievement of that maximum number of units. If the latter case (units present in the area lower than 265 thousand) occurs, the Customs and Monopolies Agency will publish the number of clearances active on the institutional website on the date of April 30, 2018.

The succasive art.3 of the decree, on the other hand, concerns the revocation of the clearances exceeding the overall maximum number and provides that the Agency checks, within ten working days of the deadline, at each dealer the reduction of the number of active clearances, in order to guarantee compliance with the maximum limits set. If for a single dealer, a number of clearance higher than that resulting from the application of the reduction rates is found, the agency will in addition to the same concessionaire - twenty working days - the communication of the start of procedure for revocation of a number of nothing hostess equal to the sur detected.

After this notification, and within five working days, the dealer will block the appliances exceeding with the start of the procedures for their disposal and, if this operation is not implemented, the Customs and Monopolies Agency will apply the Administrative sanction of 10 thousand $ for each equipment and will have the immediate detachment of the connection from the electronic network of excess appliances. All this is obviously represented by a series of dates for deadlines, number of equipment but not only: it represents the end of a game and fun sector.
