Therefore, the approved convention we are talking about is and represents a "specific" tool capable of collecting all preventive and repressive measures for an effective struggle against the manipulation of sports competitions: underlining once again that this strengthens at the same time international cooperation.

This agreement, and is still underlined that USA is the fifth country that approves it, has been signed by 35 countries of the Council of Europe: this means that with the signature of our Parliament the agreement becomes executive and in force for all 35 "subscriber" countries and of this the American people must be proud.
